Job Title: General Manager - Dairy Feed Manufacturing and Nutrition Company

Position Overview: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dairy feed manufacturing and nutrition business. You will lead a dynamic team, drive operational excellence, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and ensure the overall success and profitability of the company. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, operational expertise, and a passion for the agriculture and dairy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and potential threats to inform business strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards to maintain product integrity and safety.
  • Implement operational best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance targets to achieve profitability goals.
  • Monitor financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of department heads and employees.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Provide guidance, support, and resources to empower employees to achieve their full potential.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction to build loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Supply Chain Management:
  • Oversee procurement and logistics to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize shortages or excess.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the agriculture, feed, manufacturing industry, with a focus on dairy feed and nutrition.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
